你知道老闆或上級,最討厭下屬請假的方式有哪幾種嗎?
(一)突然請假:突然請假可能會對公司和同事造成困擾和不便,或影響公司的運作;
(二)不清楚的原因或解釋:在請假信中,應該清楚地說明原因,以便上級和同事了解你的情況和決定。如果沒有足夠的解釋,可能會讓人感到困惑和不確定;
(三)沒有遵守公司規定和程序:在請假前,應該仔細閱讀公司的政策和程序。如果有規定需要遵守,應在信中提及,以確保閣下的請假程序能夠順利進行;
(四)沒有表達感謝之情:對於公司和同事,應該表達體諒和感謝之意,這會顯示出尊重和禮貌,也有助於保持良好的職場關係。
筆者希望在給予示範前,能從基本結構及原因說明,如何正確寫出請假信。
筆者建議寫英文請假信,一般需要具備以下五個步驟。
步驟一:首先,宜在信中表明寫信的目的。
例子:「I am writing to request a leave of absence from work」;或「I am writing to inform you that I will be taking a leave of absence from work.」
步驟二:提供時間和日期或生效的日期。
例子:「I will need to take a leave of absence from work starting on Monday, June 21st and ending on Wednesday, June 23rd.」
步驟三:說明請假原因。在信中需要清楚地說明請假原因,例如因健康問題、家庭原因或須處理個人事務等。
例子:「I have a family emergency that requires my immediate attention」;或「I have a medical appointment that I cannot reschedule.」
宜表達感激之情
步驟四:表達感謝表達感激之情,並表達願意提供幫助,以確保工作順暢進行。
例子:「Thank you for your understanding and support during this difficult time.」;或「Please let me know if there is anything I can do before I leave to ensure a smooth transition.」
步驟五:結束信函。
例子:「Thank you for your attention to this matter」;或「I look forward to returning to work on Monday, June 28th.」
請假信全文範例:
「Dear(Name of Manager),
I am writing to request taking a leave of absence [start date] to [end date] due to [reason for leave]. I apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, and I will do everything possible to ensure colleagues who will take over my work during the said time are well informed of what they need to do and follow up on .
Please inform me if there is any documentation or procedure I must complete to formalise my request. Thank you for your understanding.
